1. Warm-ups and name games
2. Read-through the script- we also did contentless scenes to create an understanding of how objectives must be clear for an audience to understand the action of a scene
3. Toured the theatre and learned about light curcuiting
4. Played Party Quirks to learn emphasis on quick characterization.
5. Did "bad audition" scenes to learn what NOT TO DO in any audition.
6. Auditioned for roles.
I can tell this is going to be an energetic and focused group. We have a massive task in front of us and every single one of you is important to its completion.
I just re-wrote the script a little bit, so everyone will get a new copy of the piece tomorrow. Some characters are gone and their lines given to other characters. Joe Harper will be Josephine (Jo) Harper, and the character will be played as a girl, by a girl.
If I accidentally left you off this list, it's an error in my excel spreadsheet, not an error in reality. You all have wonderful roles in the show. The cast is as follows:
| Role | Actor |
| Walter | Cameron |
| Injun Joe | Ben |
| Doc/Judge | Max |
| Muff | Ian |
| Tom | Adam |
| Alfred | Kyle |
| Sid | Tony |
| Josephine | Brooke |
| Huck | Matthew |
| Mrs. Douglas | Corteney |
| Amy Lawrence | Caroline |
| Mrs. Thatcher | Anna |
| Mrs. Thomas | Marissa |
| Mary Rogers | Shannon |
| Aunt Polly | Erin |
| Gracie | Lauren |
| Mrs. Harper | Rachel |
| Sally | Sarah |
| Becky | Laine |
| Mrs. Adams | Jessica |
| Molly | Allison |
See you tomorrow!
